Split Core Type Current Transformers Manufacturers

Split Core Current Transformers are just like the typical current transformer, the split-core current transformer measures alternating current flowing through a conductor. The electrical performance of split-core current transformers is as good as the continuous toroidal core transformer.

Split Core Current transformers may be either Ring Type or Rectangular Type. Suitable for higher ratio CTs, Ring Type Construction is preferred from the economical point of view. These type of transformers are usually insulated with PVC casing and are primarily used in electrical systems for metering and protection. The standard secondary output from such transformers are 1 Ampere or 5 Amperes.
